Application – You can only make disciples of all nations if you are a disciple first. Obey His commands from his word and apply them every day.

Prayer – Dear God. Help me act different like you when you were being persecuted. Help me to act different when I'm at the park, so that people will see I am different and get interested. Amen.

Sins to avoid – Lying about not knowing Jesus. Giving unfair trials.

Commands to obey – Remember Jesus' death by examining communion. Don't use violence to protect Christ or His name.

Application – Some things I prefer not to do: Cleaning up after people's messes. Doing chores. Forgiving those who have offended me. Letting go of revenge when I'm mad. Letting people recite or check chores when they were giving me a hard time earlier. Cleaning the kitchen.  

Prayer – I don't prefer, but your will.

Prayer – Dear God. Help me to not be obsessed with useless things. You are the only thing I need. I don't need to be obsessed with other things besides you and your word. Amen.

Prayer – Dear God. Give me a new heart. One that is clean and pure and one that wants to honor you. I know that the condition of the heart is what defiles me. So give me a new heart that does not defile me because I want to please you. Amen.
