Scripture – Matthew 28

Observation – 

  • Matthew 28:1-15 - The risen Jesus.
    • Matthew 28:1-3 - Mary Magdalene and Mary of Bethany find an angel at the tomb.
    • Matthew 28:4-6 - The Angel's Message
    • Matthew 28:7-8 - The angel’s instructions to the Mary's
    • Matthew 28:9-10 - The Mary's meet Jesus
    • Matthew 28:11-15 - The bribery of the guards
  • Matthew 28:16-20 - The great commission.
    • Matthew 28:16-17 - The disciples meet Jesus at Galilee 
    • Matthew 28:18-20 - Jesus instructs His disciples on their duty after His departure.

Examples to follow – Rejoice when Jesus comes.

Examples to not follow –Don't Bribe.

Sins to avoid – 

Promises to claim – I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Commands to obey – Go make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit.

Application – You can only make disciples of all nations if you are a disciple first. Obey His commands from his word and apply them every day.
