Beth Section -
9How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word.
10With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.
11Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
Am I really treasuring God's words in my heart? I memorize the word, I listen to it, but do I treasure it? Because I have heard of God's word all my life, I don't treasure it. I know it is special, but I don't treasure it like it's the best thing in the world. I need to change my attitude toward God's word. Right now, I'm treasuring other things in my heart. Friends, volleyball, games. I need to focus on taking those out and replacing them with God's word.
