  • 2 Chronicles 12:6-16 - Repentance and Service of Judah
    • 2 Chronicles 12:6 - The repentance of Rehoboam and Judah.
    • 2 Chronicles 12:7-8 - Deliverance with a reminder
    • 2 Chronicles 12:9-12 - Some of the deliverance was granted to Judah
    • 2 Chronicles 12:13-16 - A summary of Rehoboam's reign

Examples to follow – Even if you repent, there is still a cost for sin.

Examples to not follow – Don't repent because you want to get off on punishment. Do it because you actually feel sorry.

Sins to avoid – Insincere repentance.

Application – Do not repent because you want to get out of punishment.

Prayer –  Heavenly Father. Help me to repent sincerely and whole heartedly. Help me to not repent because I want to get out of punishment. Amen.
