 Scripture – Numbers 17-18

Observation – 

• Numbers 17:1-13 - Aaron's rod buds
• Numbers 17:1-7 - Make rods for each leader with their name on it
• Numbers 17:8 - Aaron's rod buds.
• Numbers 17:9-12 - The rebels will not die
• Numbers 17:13 - Whoever comes near the tabernacle will die
• Numbers 18:1-7 - Duties of levites
• Numbers 18:1-2 - All levites may serve
• Numbers 18:3-5 - They shall not touch the tabernacle
• Numbers 18:6-7 - Aaron has helpers
• Numbers 18:8-32 - The priest's portion
• Numbers 18:8-16 - They may get a portion of all offerings
• Numbers 18:17 - They shall not take the firstborn meat
• Numbers 18:18-21 - The levites will not own a portion of the land
• Numbers 18:22-24 - The levites will perform the service of the tent
• Numbers 18:25-32 - You may eat the rest of the offering anywhere

Application – Be thankful for whatever God gives you

Prayer – Dear God, help me to be thankful with what you give me. Help me to realize that its your will and not mine. Amen

Sins to avoid – Complaining against God, not thankful, eating the best part for yourself
