• Numbers 19:1-22 - Ordinance of the Red Heifer
• Numbers 19:1-2 - Bring a perfect red heifer
• Numbers 19:3-5 - The heifer shall be offered up to God
• Numbers 19:6-10 - The priests who offer shall be unclean
• Numbers 19:11-13 - Whoever touches a corpse will be unclean
• Numbers 19:14-15 - Whoever is with a corpse will be unclean
• Numbers 19:16-17 - Whoever touches a corpse in battle will be unclean
• Numbers 19:18-19 - How to cleanse yourself
• Numbers 20-22 - He shall be cut off if he does not purify himself
• Numbers 20:1-7 - Death of Miriam
• Numbers 20:1 - Miriam dies at the place of Zin.
• Numbers 20:2-13 - Water comes from the rock.
• Numbers 20:2-6 - The people complain.
• Numbers 20:7-8 - Take the rod and speak to the rock.
• Numbers 20:9-10 - Gathering of the congregation.
• Numbers 20:11 - Moses strikes the rock.
• Numbers 20:12-13 - Moses will not go into the promised land
• Numbers 20:14-22 - Edom does not let them pass.
• Numbers 20:14-18 - Edom does not let Israel pass.
• Numbers 20:19-22 - Edom refuses
• Numbers 20:23-29 - Death of Aaron
• Numbers 20:23-25 - Aaron shall not enter the promise land
• Numbers 20:26-27 - Give Aaron's clothes to Eleazar
• Numbers 20:28-29 - Aaron dies

Application – Complaining reveals a lack of faith in God and ungratefulness. God takes seriously the sins of the leaders.

Prayer – Dear God, you are faithful and you  keep your promises. Help me not to be like Moses in not believing in you and getting angry at the people. Amen
