- 1 Chronicles 17:16-22 - David’s humble thanksgiving and praise to God.
- 1 Chronicles 17:23-27 - David boldly asks that the promise be fulfilled as spoken.
- 1 Chronicles 18:1-13 - David conquers neighboring nations.

Examples to follow – Do great things from God. Take initiative.
Examples to not follow – Don't be too hasty. Make sure that God wants it and it isn't just your own sinful desire.

Promises to claim –
Commands to obey – Praise God for what he gives you. Ask him that the promise will be fulfilled.
Application – Ask God that the promises He gives you will be fulfilled.
Prayer – Heavenly Father. Jeremiah 29:11 says that you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me. They are plans for good. I ask that that promise will be fulfilled in my life. I pray that you will prosper me in my life. Amen.
