1 Chronicles 13-15

Observation – 

  • 1 Chronicles 13:1-8 - The attempt to bring the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem.
    • 1 Chronicles 13:1-4 - The plan to bring the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem.
    • 1 Chronicles 13:5-8 - The procession of the ark from Kirjath Jearim.
  • 1 Chronicles 13:9-14 - The death of Uzza
    • 1 Chronicles 13:9-11 - Uzza touches the ark and is killed in judgment.
    • 1 Chronicles 13:12-14 - David’s fear and God’s blessing on Obed-Edom’s house.
  • 1 Chronicles 14:1-7 - David's home in Jerusalem
    • 1 Chronicles 14:1-2 - The royal palace of David
    • 1 Chronicles 14:3-7 - The sons born to David

Application – Seek God's guidance before important things, and if it is successful, praise God.

Prayer –  Heavenly Father, help me to seek your guidance before I do something. Help me to make the right choices using your word and to give you the glory when it is successful. Amen.
