Examples to follow –

Examples to not follow – Do not disregard the God of your redemption. Do not conform to those of the world. Do not put other things above God. Do not reject God's warnings against you.

Sins to avoid –

Promises to claim –

Commands to obey –

Application – Do not conform to those of the world. Be in the world but not of the world.

The desire to win

The desire to be liked

Bored

Not getting what you want

Tired

Grumpy

Prayer – Heavenly Father. Help me not to conform to the world such as the desire to win or the desire to be liked. Help me not to conform to the world by always wanting instant entertainment or never wanting to be bored. Help me to be like you in knowing that I am a winner in your eyes and that you like me, and that's enough. Amen.
