Observation –
- 2 Kings 11:1-12 - The preservation of Joash
- 2 Kings 11:1-3 - The queen mother reigns over Judah
- 2 Kings 11:4-11 - Jehoiada plans to reveal the hidden heir to the throne.
- 2 Kings 11:12 - Joash is crowned and received as king.
- 2 Kings 11:13-21 - The death of the Queen Mother Athaliah.
- 2 Kings 11:13-14 - Joash, the rightful heir, is revealed
- 2 Kings 11:15-16 - Jehoiada commands the execution of Athaliah and her supporters.
- 2 Kings 11:17 - Jehoiada establishes a new covenant.
- 2 Kings 11:18-21 - The reforms of Joash
- 2 Kings 12:1-16 - Joash repairs the temple.
- 2 Kings 12:1-3 - A summary of the reign of Jehoash.

Prayer – Heavenly Father. I know I am young and still have much to learn. But I know I can talk with older people and share the gospel with them because I have you on my side. You can and will give me strength to teach them. I know I don't have to be afraid of talking with them because of my age because the eternal God is on my side. Amen.
