2 Kings 3

Scripture – 2 Kings 3

Observation – 

  • 2 Kings 3:1-10 - Three kings gather against the Moabites.
    • 2 Kings 3:1-3 - A summary of Jehoram’s reign, the son of Ahab.
    • 2 Kings 3:4-5 - Moab’s rebellion.
    • 2 Kings 3:6-8 - Israel and Judah join together to fight Moab.
    • 2 Kings 3:9-10 - The armies of Israel, Judah, and Edom are stranded in the desert without water.
  • 2 Kings 3:11-19 - Elisha speaks for the LORD.
    • 2 Kings 3:11-12 - Jehoshaphat seeks God’s word in the matter.
    • 2 Kings 3:13-15 - Elisha agrees to speak with the three kings.
    • 2 Kings 3:16-19 - The word from God.
  • 2 Kings 3:20-27 - The defeat of Moab.
    • 2 Kings 3:20 - God meets their need when mysterious water flows through the camp.
    • 2 Kings 3:21-25 - The Moabites attack the camp of the three kings.
    • 2 Kings 3:26-27 - The king of Moab’s desperate move.
