- Judges 14:5-9 - Samson slays a lion and eats honey
- Judges 14:10-20 - Feast and the riddle
- Judges 14:10-11 - Samson hosts a party for his friends
- Judges 14:12-14 - Samson says a riddle about the lion and the honey
- Judges 14:15-18 - Samson's wife finds out and tells it to the philistines
- Judges 14:19-20 - Samson's anger and revenge.
- Judges 15:1-8 - Revenge back and forth
- Judges 15:1-3 - Samson's anger that his wife is taken
- Judges 15:4-5 - Samson burns the philistines crops.
- Judges 15:6-7 - The philistines take revenge by killing samson's wife and her family.

- Judges 15:9-13 - Judah surrenders Samson to the philistines
- Judges 15:14-17 - Samson kills all of them with a jawbone
- Judges 15:18-20 - God provides for Samson miraculously.
Application – It is important to hold your tongue and not take revenge.
Prayer – Dear God. Help me to hold my tongue and not take revenge on those around me. Help me to not say anything and forgive. Amen.
Sins to avoid – Continuing to take revenge.
