    • Judges 12:4-6 - Jephthah attacks Ephraim with the Gileadites 
    • Judges 12:7 - Remainder of Jephthah's rule
  • Judges 12:8-15 - 3 Judges
    • Judges 12:8-10 - Ibzan
    • Judges 12:11-12 - Elon
    • Judges 12:13-15 - Abdon
  • Judges 13:1-25 - Birth of Samson
    • Judges 13:1 - Life in Israel at Samson's time
    • Judges 13:2-3 - An angel appears to Manoah's wife
    • Judges 13:4-5 - Special instructions for the child
    • Judges 13:6-7 - Manoah's wife tells her husband
    • Judges 13:8-14 - The LORD confirms the words spoken
    • Judges 13:15-18 - Manoah offers a meal but the angel only accepts an offering
    • Judges 13:19-21 - The angel displays his authority
    • Judges 13:22-23 - Reaction of Manoah and his wife
    • Judges 13:24-25 - Samson is born and the spirit comes on him.

Application – God still plans to raise a deliverer even when the Israelites disobey. Faith and obedience even from unexpected messengers.

Prayer – Dear God. Your mercy and grace overflow over me. I sin and get angry. I get stubborn and hard hearted, but you don't stop pouring your love over me. Thank you for giving many chances. Amen.

Sins to avoid – Staying in sin. 

Promises to claim – 

Examples to follow – Don't stay in sin.

Commands to obey – 

Summarize and apply – God raises more deliverers.
