Observation – 

• Joshua 5:1 - The foreign kings were afraid.
• Joshua 5:2-9 - Israel is circumcised
• Joshua 5:10-12 -Israel celebrates the Passover
• Joshua 5:13-15 - Joshua sees an angel
• Joshua 6:16-27 - Conquest of Jerico
• Joshua 6:1-4 - Circle the city
• Joshua 6:5 - Shout when you hear a special trumpet sound
• Joshua 6:6-11 - Joshua did it the first time
• Joshua 6:12-14 - Joshua did it for 6 days
• Joshua 6:15-16 - Joshua told the people to shout
• Joshua 6:17 - Rahab is to be spared
• Joshua 6:18-21 - They destroyed everything.
• Joshua 6:22-23; 25 - Rahab was saved
• Joshua 6:24 - They burned the city
• Joshua 6:26- Joshua issues a curse
• Joshua 6:27 - The Lord was with Joshua

Application – We must trust God to give us the victory even when it's hard, discouraging, or doesn't make sense.

Prayer – Dear God. Help me to praise you when I am successful. You are the one that makes victory possible. Amen.
