- Isaiah 41:1 - A command to the coastlands
- Isaiah 41:2-4 - God reasons with the coastlands
- Isaiah 41:5-7 - The coastland were afraid
- Isaiah 41:8-20 - God encourages Israel
- Isaiah 41:8-9 - Israel is different from the distand land
- Isaiah 41:10-13 - Fear not, for God's help is here
- Isaiah 41:14-16 - Fear not, for with God's help, nothing is impossible
- Isaiah 41:17-20 - Fear not, For God has abundant resources
- Isaiah 41:21-29 - Idolatry is on trial
- Isaiah 41:21 - God calls idols and worshippers to a trial
- Isaiah 41:22-24 - God examines the idols and worshippers
- Isaiah 41:25-29 - God concludes that Idols are worthless
This chapter reminds me that I don’t need to fear any obstacle. I know this because God’s help is always present, infinitely powerful, able to overcome anything, and with abundant resources. It is a great source of comfort for me that God's help is always ready and present. To know that the God of the universe is on my side, is so much better than say, you have a lot of money in case something bad happens. I thank God for these truths that He has given me in Isaiah and shown me what kind of God He is.
