Do your work well and thoroughly because you will benefit from turning in good work. Your boss will be impressed when you give work that is thorough and well thought out. You will be liked and you will finish checking quicker. 

You should work hard because it glorifies God. It is your calling. God commands you to.

You should work hard because it's good for your character.
