    • Psalm 81:4–5 – God's established decree for Israel
    • Psalm 81:6–7 – God delivered Israel from slavery and answered their cries
    • Psalm 81:8–10 – A plea for Israel to listen and worship only God
    • Psalm 81:11–12 – Israel's refusal leads to being given over to their own ways
    • Psalm 81:13–16 – God's desire to bless if only His people would obey
  • Psalm 82 – God Judges the Earth
    • Psalm 82:1–2 – God rebukes unjust rulers
    • Psalm 82:3–4 – A call to defend the weak and needy
    • Psalm 82:5–7 – Earthly judges walk in darkness and will die like men
