  • 2 Samuel 7:1-7 - David proposes to build a house for the LORD
    • 2 Samuel 7:1-3 - Nathan’s premature advice to David.
    • 2 Samuel 7:4-7 - God's response to David's offer
  • 2 Samuel 7:8-17 - God proposes to build a house for David
    • 2 Samuel 7:8-9 - God reminds David what he has done for Him
    • 2 Samuel 7:10-11 - God promises two things to David
    • 2 Samuel 7:12-17 - God details His promise of a house for David.
  • 2 Samuel 7:18-29 - David thanks God
    • 2 Samuel 7:18-24 - David glorifies God for his goodness
    • 2 Samuel 7:25-29 - David asks that the promise be fulfilled
