  • 1 Chronicles 29:1-9 - David's offering for the temple
    • 1 Chronicles 29:1-5 - David's gift to build the temple
    • 1 Chronicles 29:6-9 - The giving of other Israelites.
  • 1 Chronicles 29:10-20 - David's song
    • 1 Chronicles 29:10-12 - David praises the Lord
    • 1 Chronicles 29:13-15 - David thanks God for the privilege of giving
    • 1 Chronicles 29:16-19 - David commits the offering received from the people 
    • 1 Chronicles 29:20 - David leads the people to praise
  • 1 Chronicles 29:21-30 - The end of David's reign
    • 1 Chronicles 29:21-25 - The nation rejoices at the new king, Solomon
    • 1 Chronicles 29:26-20 - The end of David's reign

Application – Thank God for the chances he has given you to worship, serve and give.

Prayer – Heavenly father. Thank you for the chances you have given me to worship. Thank you for Wednesday worship, Sunday worship, and Friday worship. Thank you for all the chances I get to praise you. Thank you that I can serve you in so many ways. Thank you for the ushering team, and the worship team, and all the other big and little ways I have to serve you. Thank you also for the chances to give. Help me to grow in giving when I get older. Amen.
