- 2 Samuel 10:3-5 - Hanun, the new Ammonite king, treats Israel’s ambassadors shamefully.
- 2 Samuel 10:6-7 - The Ammonites and Israelites prepare for war.
- 2 Samuel 10:8-19 - Victory for Israel
- 2 Samuel 10:8-12 - Joab divides the army into two groups.
- 2 Samuel 10:13-14 - Joab defeats the Arameans, and the Ammonites retreat
- 2 Samuel 10:15-19 - David wipes out the reinforcements
- 2 Samuel 11:1-5 - David's adultery
- 2 Samuel 11:1 - David stays home from war
- 2 Samuel 11:2 - David encounters temptation

Prayer – Dear Heavenly Father. Your word says to flee sexual immorality. Help me to not put myself in places where I might be tempted. Help me to flee in times of temptation. Amen.
