    • Judges 9:7-15 - The parable of the trees
    • Judges 9:16-21 - Jotham applies the parable
    • Judges 9:22-25 - Abimelech and Shechem fight
    • Judges 9:26-29 - The people of Shechem choose a new leader
    • Judges 9:30-33 - Role of Zebul
    • Judges 9:34-41 - Abimelech defeats the rebellion
    • Judges 9:42-45 - Abimelech conquers the city
    • Judges 9:46-49 - A massacre at the town of Shechem.

Prayer – Dear God. You are faithful in your promises and your judgements both good and bad. I know if I don't put my faith in you, I will go to hell. Help me to trust in you and your son. Amen.
