• Joshua 9:3-5 - The Gibeonites put on old things and went to Israel
• Joshua 9:6-13 - The Gibeonites tricked Joshua
• Joshua 9:14-15 - Joshua gave them food and made a covenant without God's consent
• Joshua 9:16-18 - Israel found about the trickery
• Joshua 9:19-21 - They did not attack them.
• Joshua 9:22-23 - Joshua confronted them
• Joshua 9:24-25 - The gibeonites explained
• Joshua 9:26-27 - He made them servants

Application – It is important to seek God for guidance

Prayer – Dear God. Help me to seek your counsel and guidance in hard and easy things. Help me to see how important seeking you is. Amen.
