Observation – 

• Numbers 24:1-25 - Balaam blesses Israel again
• Numbers 24:1-3 - God wants Balaam to prophesy again
• Numbers 24:4-24 - Balaam prophesies
• Numbers 24:25 - Balaam leaves.
• Numbers 25:1-18 - Moab lures Israel
• Numbers 25:1-3 - Israel worshipped the Moabite gods
• Numbers 25:4-5- All Israelite leaders are killed
• Numbers 25:6 - A Midianite woman is brought into camp.
• Numbers 25:7-8 - Phinehas kills the man and woman
• Numbers 25:9 - 24,000 people died
• Numbers 25:10-13 - Phinehas has turned away God's wrath
• Numbers 25:14-15 - The man's name was Zimri and the woman was named Kozbi
• Numbers 25:16-18 - Kill the Midianites

Application – Worship and follow only God

Prayer – Dear God, you are the one true God. Help me to follow and trust in you alone. Help me to not be like the israelites and to worship you alone. Help me to be bold like Phinehas. Amen
