Observation –
- Leviticus 10 - Sin of Nadab and Abihu
- Leviticus 10:1-3 - Death of Nadab and Abihu
- Leviticus 10:4-7 - Burial of Nadab and Abihu.
- Leviticus 10:8-15 - Aaron's family becoming clean again.
- Leviticus 10:16-20 - Aaron's family disobey God's command
- Leviticus 11 - Laws about animals for food
- Leviticus 11:1-8 - No eating animals who chew cud
- Leviticus 11:9-12 - Eat animals with scales and fins
- Leviticus 11:13-19 - No eating specific birds(Eagle, vulture, buzzard, kite, falcon, raven, ostrich, own, seagull, hawk, little owl, cormorant, great owl, white own, pelican, carrior vulture, stork, heron, hoopoe, bat.)
- Leviticus 11:20-23 - No eating winged insects with 4 feet. (besides locust)
- Leviticus 11:24-30 - Specific animals are unclean.
- Leviticus 11:31-40 - Things that unclean people touch are unclean.
- Leviticus 11:41-43 - No eating swarming things or things that crawl on the belly.
- Leviticus 11:44-47 - God is holy.
Application – God is holy and we need to stay clean to come before him
Prayer – Dear God, you are holy and righteous. I am a sinner and cannot come before you without obeying your commands but you made another way. You gave us your son to die on the cross for our sins. I thank you for this way because I cannot follow your commandments exactly. Amen
